   A merchant account is required to accept credit cards at your business. There are many sites on the Internet where you can apply for a Merchant Account.
   
   

3. Credit Card Payment Gateway
   This is the service provided by companies such as AuthorizeNet, Verisign, etc.. Using this method your Shopping Cart 'hands off' the credit card information to the Real Time Credit Card Processing company to complete the transaction. Most Credit Card Processing company can suggest you a Merchant Account Provider and viceversa.
   
   

4. SSL Certificate
   Most merchants consider SSL security essential for their web site. WEBMASTERCART will work with your SSL site. If you need a SSL certificate for your website contact your hosting provider.
